Preserved wedding flowers, before and after

If you’re thinking about getting your wedding flowers preserved, just see how beautiful they are before AND after.

A fresh and fragrant bridal bouquet becomes a sentimental keepsake; a visual reminder of all the magic & memories…

These days I don’t always get to meet clients in person, but when Brittany and Kevin stopped by the shop to chat their wedding florals, we hit it off immediately. These two were so lovely to talk to and understood the price of flowers, so were happy to offer us full creative license in terms of style and flower types.

After our meeting, Brittany ordered A La Carte through our website and made one simple request: no reds, no purples, no feathers. Easy! She attached a couple images for inspiration, and to my delight, they were all photos from our website of our previous wedding florals.

It’s truly such a compliment to know our clients know my work and love my style!

With a colour palette of blush pink and navy blue, I went with my

signature wildflower look with lots of texture.

Brittany’s flowers included an array of hydrangea, lisianthus, calycina, strawflower, astrantia, dahlia, larkspur, delphinium, eryngium and eucalyptus.

For the men’s suits, they chose floral pocket squares as an easy and modern alternative to the typical pin-on boutonniere. These simply slip right into the pocket of the suit (so there’s no danger of sharp pokes!), and they’re ideal for tux rentals as they don’t create holes in the fabric.

B&K said their vows on a shimmery Pyramid Lake with mountains in the distance. This area is full of pretty backdrops for couple’s photos, and just steps away from the lodge where their reception was held.

Waterfront and chalet-style, Pyramid Lake Lodge is recently renovated, and a gorgeous locale tucked just a few minutes drive out of town.

Bud vases are a sweet alternative to large centrepieces.

Setting them on surfaces around the room in alternating height added lots of visual interest, drawing guests to their seats, the card table, and wherever else you may want their attention.

A few blooms were a balanced addition to the naked cake; how adorable are the custom cake toppers modelled after their pups?! Brittany ordered these from Etsy, and they were SO cute!

After the wedding, Brittany sent her bouquet as well as some of the other wedding flowers to be preserved by Kamille of The Poised Press. They were designed in shadow boxes to create gorgeous sentimental keepsakes that are truly one-of-a-kind home decor.

Bridal bouquets, arrangements and centrepieces can be enjoyed far beyond the wedding day…

These dried wedding flowers are a stunning and tangible reminder of the wedding day magic, keeping those memories close and vivid in their home forever.
